Coin toss. Which business model will prevail? Verizon's monopolistic suck customers dry, or Google's more symbiotic business model, free services as long as they can track all customers on line and communication activities, for sale to anyone with an open checkbook?
RE:Comcast146;s deal with Netflix makes network neutrality obsolete
This news item( »www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the···bsolete/ ) is a very good read for anyone trying to understand how peering works and how the backbone companies are losing power as the big content companies(Amazon, Apple, Netflix, Facebook, etc) interconnect directly with Comcast, TWC, AT&T, & Verizon.
Everyone keeps saying how the big ISPs need to be heavily regulated. But that should also then apply to the big content companies too. Doing one without the other is a huge waste of time.
