NBA TV channel free until May 1 for digital customers

TV deal

Comcast Corp., the biggest U.S. cable-television operator, is among companies giving digital customers a free preview of the NBA's TV channel.

In addition to Comcast, which owns the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers, Cablevision Systems Corp., the New York area's largest cable operator, and AOL Time Warner Inc. also agreed to show the channel from yesterday through April 30. Cablevision owns the New York Knicks, while AOL Time Warner owns the Atlanta Hawks.

where is this channel at?

Is this channel availabe to former att broadband subscribers? I tuned to channel 440 (supposedly nbatv) and instead i got the nba league pass preview channel from in demand. Am I missing something here?

The games are live and won't be on until evening. There is nothing to see right now.

I do not get the nba tv channel. I get the NBA League Pass preview channel. Do only Classic Comcast customers get the NBA TV channel and the att broadband customers don't get it yet or is it on another channel?

From this it seems the preview channel and NBA TV are one and the same. They seem to show promos for the league pass for much of the day.

ok it says channel 440 but channel 440 is the league pass preview channel. It has been since nba.com tv went off the air earlier this year. Nothing has changed at all. Even though tvguide.com and the on screen guide tell me differently apparently comcast hasn't given us att broadband subs this channel yet. Wonder why?

My Channel 440 (League Pass PC/NBA TV) is now reporting that I am not authorized to view, instead of showing the retarded NBA League Pass Preview crap.

Anyone else seeing this? If so, are you Comcast or Comcast/ATTBI or Other.
