HOGANSBURG, N.Y. (AP) -- A New York Indian tribe says it may renew its push to build a casino in the Catskills.

The St. Regis Mohawk tribe spent years developing a plan to open a casino in Monticello, but the proposal looked dead after the Bush administration said the site was too far from the tribe's territory.

Monticello is in Sullivan County, hundreds of miles from the Akwesasne reservation on the Canadian border.
