RCN, TiVo NYC Sweepstakes Promises 25 Years Free Cable

Marketing teams from RCN and TiVo will roam the streets of the Big Apple on Tuesday, June 8, as part of a sweepstakes giving New Yorkers a shot at winning free cable and Internet for 25 years, among other prizes.
The companies are staging the "Neighborhood Dash" sweepstakes event as part of promoting the availability of the TiVo Premiere DVR through RCN in the New York market. RCN is the first U.S. television operator to offer the TiVo hardware, which will be RCN's primary DVR offering to provide integrated search across digital cable, video-on-demand and Internet content.

For each team participants find, they are entered to win the grand prize of free cable and Internet for 25 years, a new TiVo Premiere or other prizes. No word about service contracts for the winners over the next quarter century
