News of the budget deal has many in Central Florida breathing a sigh of relief.
It means military families will keep getting paid and some national parks will remain open.
Park rangers were planning on turning people away at the entrances to the Canaveral National Seashore, but it's now open for business.
The deal means all national parks in Central Florida will stay open.
There were also fears this month's launch of shuttle Endeavour would have to be delayed, but now that won't be the case.
Meanwhile, many military families in Central Florida are also breathing a sigh of relief.
That's because if the shutdown happened, they would stop getting paychecks.
