| Re: Zywall 1 Problem new firmware I get the same results in the default state. To achieve stealth, you must set antiprobe=1. Use the following command:
ip anti 1

Eric, No UPnP yet. Look at my thread discussing DNS. It contains a list of the fixes and changes.

| Re: None for Zywall 10 yet? :) latest beta build of LL works fine with latest beta of firmware... hence the winky guy on that line of my post.
Normally I wouldn't care, and would not respond... but your response makes me seem like a liar, and I know its working. What version of linklogger are you using?
ps. I signed no nda, hopefully its not a big deal to let people know that yes, it does work again (since yesterday).

| Re: None for Zywall 10 yet? :) I assumed you were talking about the Z1 with the latest firmware release. Linklogger works with the first version of the firmware, not with the second. The problem appears to be related to the fact that the firewall is not working in the normal manner. Hence my comment that linklogger can't fix the problem.
I certainly wasn't calling you a liar. I assume linklogger will work with the future versions. If I offended you, I apologize.
Edit3: Kiwi Syslog does not work either. I feel stronger than ever that the logging problem is a Z1 firmware problem, not a linklogger problem. The firewall is not broadcasting any events.
Edit4: Internal Z1 firewall logging does not work correctly. The firewall does not log inbound probes. I enabled LAN-to-WAN logging. The firewall does log outbound events.

| If you are testing the Zywall 10 beta version firmware then we do have a version of Link Logger that works with that version (small change in the logging format). Please send an email to support@LinkLogger.com we will send you that version. For the Zywall 1 it appears that you can't turn on syslog for the firewall (a problem in the latest firmware version), but I'm sure that Zyxel will have it fixed soon.

| Additional ZyWALL 1 Server ControlsSeveral Z1 posts asked about SNMP. AFAIK, no one discovered any method to control this feature when using the original firmware, even though the process was running. The new firmware includes some new controls, as is shown below. The original firmware only included the first four items. The SNMP and DNS service controls have been added in the latest firmware.
ras> sys server disp
FTP server Server Port = 21, Access = 2, Secure Host Ip = 0.0.0.0
TELNET server Server Port = 23, Access = 2, Secure Host Ip = 0.0.0.0
Web server Server Port = 80, Access = 2, Secure Host Ip = 0.0.0.0
ICMP ping Access = 2, Secure Host Ip = 0.0.0.0
SNMP service Server Port = 161, Access = 0, Secure Host Ip = 0.0.0.0
DNS service Server Port = 53, Access = 0, Secure Host Ip = 0.0.0.0
I have not tried to use the SNMP service.
