News Corp. Raises More Funds in Possible Sign of DirecTV Bid (old news - 02:09AM Wednesday Nov 13 2002)
Wednesday's Wall Street Journal reported News Corporation raised roughly $1.3 billion through a secondary stock offering in its Fox Entertainment Group Inc. unit, signaling that Rupert Murdoch may be laying the groundwork for a second run at satellite broadcaster and the DirecTV DSL unit.
Anybody want to comment on game performance they had with direct tv dsl? im switching my dsl isp for my pc xbox live playstation 2/game cube/dreamcast and got 2 choices out here direct tv and msn with Quest dsl.. direct tv looks like it has a down stream of 1.5 mb but the upload speed looks kinda slow (128kps) while qwest has a much slower download speed 640kps and higher up load speed of 240kbps and decideing if the higher up load is going to make any difference in my ping is giving me a headache... and i kinda noticed it cost extra on direct tv dsl to hook up more than one computer? what is the deal with that?
