Nokia Files Countersuit In Qualcomm Patent Case
They say that 3G technology is threatened by the suit

Looks like 3G technology could be hindered by the Nokia/Qualcomm patent disputes, at least according to Nokia, which says that alternative technology like mobile Wimax is gaining in popularity due to the uncertainties surrounding 3G licenses. That doesn’t seem to make them inclined to get any closer to working something out, though. Nokia just filed its first countersuit against Qualcomm, seeking an injunction against Qualcomm chips as well as reparation for damages. Perhaps Nokia isn’t that concerned since the company expects to maintain its lead against competitors throughout the rest of the year.

Qualcomm makes its money on patents

Qualcomm has WiMAX patents as well... they don't care.
Qualcomm wants to have its cake and eat it too.

Qualcom = evil

They are the definition of a patent troll. They are doing anything possible to control the wireless market and to make sure they continue to get royalty fees from 3G tech even though this should not be in the first place. DYE QUALCOM, DYYYEEE !

Qualcomm's pass time: to sue

hi

As we can see, Qualcomm has a very longue relationchip with Nokia, which is it's principal fees source, but Qualcomm doesn't care, may be he like legal issues, he is in conflict with something like 7 other firms ( Sony, Broadcom, Nec,... in Europe )
Anyway, concerning Qualcomm we will have next week another decision, made by ITC... wait and see
( Sorry for errors and mistakes in my sentences, French is my mother tongue )
