A power disruption in the Norhteast United States has caused blackouts in a handful of US cities, including New York, Cleveland, Detroit; even affecting portions of Canada. Officials state the Niagra Mohawk power grid, which feeds electricity throughout the northeast U.S. and into Canada, is overloaded. The outages are not thought to be terrorism related.
