The People for Efficient Transportation political action committee is mounting an effort to oust Austin Mayor Will Wynn and City Council Member Brewster McCracken.
The group is organizing the "Austin Toll Party," a play on the Boston Tea Party, to derail the Austin's $2.2 billion toll road plan.
