Pft... As soon as any competition comes to my area I'm done with Windstream anyway. I can only get 1.5/394 and it cost close to $40. Sat tv through Dish Network with 2 rooms, DVR, and locals for $50. Not much of a good deal as Windstream tries to make it seem.

Might be a good deal if they would bump the speed to keep up with the times. Else in 10 years still be at 3mb when everyone else is at 10gb!
MOST consumers would find 3 Mbps more than adequate, for the foreseeable future - don't be misled by the DSLR forum bubble. And many consumers would much rather not have to renegotiate their bill every year, or deal with the exponential price increase that applies when the teaser rate expires.
Satellite rates continue to increase substantially. Being able to lock them in (presuming you're happy with the tier) for life, rather than just 12-24 months, seems like a deal to me.

price for life still has hidden fees / added others.
Like line / outlet fees / hardware rent.
Or with tv they move channel out of that pack.

Re: I still
said by Siko: According to Mr. Bode you should be able to negotiate a lower monthly price. Good luck with that.
I still have the verizon's 768k dsl for $14.99 price for life back when I got it 3 years ago.
Bit Torrent is my DVR.
