An article at The Consumerist this weekend points to proof that Comcast did indeed contract with Sandvine. Of course, we already knew that. But the company has actively denied and then avoided allegations that they were using Sandvine for traffic-shaping. The report from The Consumerist points to an article about Sandvine published in Barron’s last April which specifically says that Comcast is counted among Sandvine customers. Additionally, an article with the same statement is archived on the Sandvine website. Will Comcast continue to advise customer service representatives to refuse to reveal information about their vendors?
