Colorado Springs, CO | Stupid if they stick with *dsl If they spent the capital on FTTH their investment will be well protected. Qwest has more customers that would benefit from fiber vs those barely served by dsl technology. Also a majority of Quest customers exist in areas that suffer climate extremes that fiber is well off in withstanding.
With less maint costs and more customers served they would more quickly recoup that investment. Perhaps in the same time as the cheaper dsl route.
