Cable, internet and phone service provider RCN Corp. said Friday it is selling its San Francisco assets to Astound Broadband for $45 million in cash.

Well, if Astound sees RCN's assets as an upgrade path we may get lucky. That, or they will downgrade us to 8mbps. They seem to have a good channel lineup and the DVR has PIP enabled. Telephone seems to be only available as an add on , not a 3-way bundle like we have now.
