Earlier this month
leaked information indicated that Cricket and Radio Shack are planning to launch a new wireless MVNO creatively named "Radio Shack No Contract Wireless." Now
Engadget has obtained internal documentation pointing to a release date of September 5 for the new service. Earlier rumblings had suggested that the service will largely mirror
existing Cricket pricing via a no-contract HTC One smartphone, with more than just a little emphasis placed on promoting Cricket's
Muve Music service. Cricket owner Leap wireless has been
bleeding customers rather badly, and is rumored to be shopping itself around for a sale.
