| If any of you listen to Art Bell (some affectionately call him Art Bull), he had a show on where he had a guest who "knew" some of the astronauts who landed on the moon - yep, you know who; and they told him that they were told "in confidence" that while they were up there they had received communications from "something" that told them to stay off the moon, and mars...That we were not "ready" yet.
That coupled with the fact I was watching the NASA channel showing pics from the shuttle in space the day the female pilot undershot her lift of the shuttle prior to docking with ISS, she came on the audio to Mission Control saying "Mission Control, our friends are back...Should I get on the keyboard?"...After that, Video went immediately to Mission Control and audio was cut.
Sure, if it can be done I say let's do it. Ready or not, here we come!

How bout looking into some other way of searching out life. i can see the benefit for stellar bodies studies.. however if you think a narrow bean looking for life will werk heh! lets send another radio message , btw go back to the original code and not the picture to see that the human 'ATARI' figure is missing a foot. | |

| Great idea, but... Great idea, but how would the signals get back to Earth?
You can't exactly put a satellite into Lunar-stationary orbit. The moon doesn't turn.
Would you have a bunch of microwave relay towers on the moon stretching around to the point where Earth is visible and can then relay the signals that way?
Sounds like an idea that cannot easily be made to work.
