Cablevision’s founding Dolan family is close to striking a deal to take the company private for at least $10.5 billion, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday morning. The Dolans offered $30 per share to take Cablevision private in January. The Dolans increased their offer to $36 per share in the new offer, WSJ said...

What will this mean??

The Dolans aren't doing this all by themselves. Are they setting themselves up to merge with Time-Warner or do they really want to go alone like Cox??
