DALLAS -- Armed robbers struck the Dickey's Barbecue Pit restaurant Sunday about 8 p.m. One restaurant employee was shot in the head during the robbery.

The worker survived the attack and is recovering from the wound. No details were available on the amount of cash, if any, the robbers netted.

The robbery, which took place in the 9200 block of Skillman Street, marked the third time in about three weeks armed robbers have hit a dining establishment along the same stretch of road. A TGI Friday's restaurant was targeted Thursday, and Napoli's Restaurant was robbed at gunpoint late last month.
