SETI@Home project to be shut down

[Berkeley, CA] - Dr. David P. Anderson, Project Director of the SETI@Home project announced today that the project would be shut down immediately due to lack of funding. Several major sponsor companies informed staff at the Space Sciences Laboratory that funding would stop as of today.
