Shaw Communications Inc., Canada's No. 2 cable company, is expected to select a winning bid for its southern U.S. cable systems valued as high as C$300 million ($192 million) within the next two weeks, its chief executive said on Wednesday.
Shaw first announced plans to sell the U.S. assets in March, saying they were no longer of strategic importance and the company intended to focus on its cable operations in Western Canada.
