What is wrong here We have read about this sort of thing many times on these pages. What is wrong with these companies being up front with their customers when this happens. Up front or lying about it is not going to change anything in the end so how about some honestly.

Re: What is wrong here or there is inward fighting where they are trying to keep it going but others may have thrown in the towel (or not paid the light bill). Hard to say the end is actually the end and not have hope that "it will all be ok", but such is a fact of life.
Re: What is wrong here Yes there is a reason for them to be upfront. It's the right thing and the moral thing to do. Their customers deserve to know exactly what is going on. And if they are in bankruptcy then their customers can report them to the court. There are certain rules and procedures that they must follow even in bankruptcy.

The longer you pretend to be in business, the longer suckers will continue to pay their monthly bills.
There is no longer in ethics in business or government ... they will screw their subscribers/customers/voters/constituents any chance they get.

Sun spots There have been a large number of Sun episodes in the last few months. This is a satellite product I think and high Sun activity is going on. Happened once can happen again.
Most My theory well, my fact, there you go, is that if I do not get service, I dont pay. I have done this with many companies and it has never failed.
The price for stuff does not bug me what bugs me is when I pay for something and get nothing.
Its like going to a restraunt and ordering a steak, well scratch that ok ordering from a fast food place and paying for it and then saying sorry we are having some issues making your #1 meal please go back to the beans and soup in your cupboard until we fix this.
But yet you take my money anyways?
Oh and sir there is a 500.00 cancel fee if you cancel your order of 4.99, and by not paying your bill you default into a canceled state
