Smokers in Ontario and Quebec are bracing for a blast of fresh air as both provinces count down to a comprehensive ban on smoking in enclosed public places.
The bans are scheduled to take effect as of 12:01 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Anti-tobacco activists say the changes will be a tougher sell in Quebec than in Ontario, where municipal bans are already in effect in many cities.
