E-block remains the attention-getter in bids
(old news - 10:20AM Saturday Feb 23 2008)
tags: fcc · business · wireless
The FCC’s 700 MHz spectrum auction continues on but seems to be trickling to a close. Bidding has long been over in the D-block and seems to be closed in C-block as well. The bulk of the action in recent days has been in E-block where bidders are haggling over North and South Dakota licenses. People who are eager to know who has placed the biggest bids in the anonymous auction have some hope that the auction will come to a close in the upcoming week.

Auction Ends on the 28th

The Auction will end on Thursday. If the last bit of it is sold before then we will get to know early. Was it Verizon or was it Google with the Lead Pipe in the Dinning Room.
