According to comments made to the Scottish
Sunday Herald, Filmmaker Michael Moore says he is happy to let people share his latest film, Fahrenheit 9/11, via p2p networks.
"I don't agree with the copyright laws and I don't have a problem with people downloading the movie and sharing it with people as long as they're not trying to make a profit off my labour," says Moore.
"I do well enough already and I made this film because I want the world, to change. The more people who see it the better, so Im happy this is happening." As the Herald points out, both sides in the political debate surrounding the movie have ironically championed the downloads - opponents hoping it erodes profits, while supporters hope it spreads the film's controversial message.
