A fleet of buses in Sweden has recently made Wi-Fi available to all of its passengers. Over 80 buses transporting two million passengers annually travel to areas including Norway and Denmark, making this Wi-Fi deployment the largest in Scandinavia to date. The only downside is that the countrys recent law approving government wiretapping could cause some people to feel spied on while accessing the public transit Wi-Fi.
That would have made my 6 hour bus ride on swedbus a LOT nicer! Granted my laptop battery sucks. (1-1.5 hours max). I still could have used my t-mobile dash's wifi. (which i had at the time). You can only listen to music so long before you get bored! This is before i got my zune. I only had my pioneer inno. (with pre-recorded content only). I was most likely the only one with a xm radio in the country! -- When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.
