TM: Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) would like to inform its customers in Sabah that it is currently experiencing a disruption of services in Eastern Sabah due to a fire that occurred at its TM Exchange in Sandakan, Sabah. As a result, customers using TM’s voice, Internet and Data services such as Telephony, Leased Circuit, Data IPVPN, Metro-E, TM Direct and Streamyx/DSL in eastern Sabah in Sandakan, Tawau, Lahad Datu, Sempoerna and surrounding areas will experience service disruptions. TM is currently assessing the damage and restoration works on the affected exchange will begin once the assessment has been completed. TM will make further announcements on the progress of the restoration works.

Jaring: We are sorry to inform you that our node at Sandakan is having a major breakdown related to fire occurred at TELEKOM Exchange ELOPURA (Sandakan), resulting customers in the above-mentioned areas not able to access Internet starting July 27, 2009 at 6:30 am.
