Eastman Kodak indicated yesterday that they will not be creating any new initiatives (such as the Advantix™ system) in the consumer film area, as well as indicating that they will instead begin to focus on Digital-based products.
Most companies are shifting from film to digital now. Film will probably stay around with professionals a bit longer than in the consumer market. Kodak also plans on releasing their own line of digital photo printers next year. -- Why are we so scared death? We are sentenced to death from the minute we were born.
