The following pages have had layout improvements Life is like a box of chocolates, one never knows what page on the site one is motivated to fiddle around with next.. - Reviews page now has a wait spinner when you press the GO button to select different reviews. It also has a review search box.
- Find Nearby reviews has the site-wide pager gadget, and some format improvements.
- Any review page in the header under the 'six month rating' gets open-able and collapse-able sections for rating trend, and speed tests, plus some format improvements. Canadian reviewers can actually enter their postcode when reviewing and have it appear correctly.
- Any company page has format improvements. You can also review just the negative, or just the positive, reviews on any company.
- The about page has some format improvements.
- Forum topic polls have some format improvements, and an option to view the flash pie-chart results after you vote
- The about page for a forum now has some format improvements and links to any associated picture gallery, news blog, or company.
- Individual FAQ entries now put the FAQ question in the titlebar, should help with that all-important google ranking
- The home page has multiple format improvements including line-spacing in articles set to nearly 0.5em for readability. There were also some MSIE-only display issues that were fixed.
- Forum hot topics (the ones that surface on the home page) have some format improvements
- All ad-hoc company forums (for smaller or new ISPs and VOIP companies) get an upgrade to the forum header presentation, and a note to participants to yell if their forum gets busy.
- Forum topic and news trackbacks are tracking inbounds again properly, and there are slight but useful improvements to this page as well.
- Avatars in discussion topics now get little black picture frames around them
- Site preference pages have had slight format improvements
- New-user registrations now auto-login as well
There were also a series of bugs reported in the site bugs forum (thanks), and fixed. Most of them were caused by these or other improvements.
