Google Discover Music is another way of bolstering that side of the company. If you perform a search for an artist, album, or track, as you normally would, Google will return results that include playable tracks provided by partner sites like Lala and Rhapsody, in much the same way that YouTube videos are now posted on the results page.
The feature isn't entirely rolled out, at present; Google expects it to be implemented for all users later on Thursday night. At present, the best way to use is the service is by visiting the
Discover Music landing page. Enter something in the field and then click Search for Music, and Google will present what looks like a standard search results page. If the music search is working, you'll see playable tracks at the top.
