So enabling (temporarily, this will pass) copyright offenders is a good thing? Sites that 'point' (link) to infringing sites have to held accountable to some degree.

Re: God Bless Senator Wyden

Enabling Copyright offenders, ya whatever.

Shutting down websites because some government or corporation doesn't like something they posted? Ya, that's more like it. Good start. Oh let's call it "Copyright Infringement and Porn fighting" while making it enable anything else.

Just remember under this new bill said post could be blocked because it might offend our corporate overlords. =)

Because allowing the government to control what can be seen online is the first step to censorship..

Also remember Google can point to pirate material as well and they should not be forced to edit their search results.

Regarding the Apple sues teenager article

Props to that kid for having business sense. He did nothing illegal whatsoever, only one that could possibly be at fault is Foxconn.

Re:White Space competitors fight dirty; Microsoft kicked our

The whole white space system is a fiasco waiting to happen. I don't blame the NAB at all for being incensed with the FCC for their incompetence for letting this go forward.

Antennagate never left...

There's nothing surprising about the iPad 2 with its antennagate issues. Steve Jobs had already said this can affect all devices of similar form factors.

Even the last two generations of iPod touches I've owned had issues with it's reception by gripping the corner of where the antenna is located (and the distance of the base station would attenuate the signal even further).

Blacklists, ahoy! PROTECT IP Act sails on to Senate floor

If this passes, we're all fscked.

..and don't give me the "It protects the CR holders!" bullsh*t. Just like the Patriot Act was (not) for Patriotism.. It's all about control.

Not to mention anyone could claim a site was rogue, which would be a battle of corporations and possibly.. countries.
