I could see that claim being true. It is a very addicting game.

Id love to know what Fantasy sports wastes in productivity time. as we enter football season I bet the fantasy teams are burning tons of worker time.

that said if someone is still making their deadlines and doing high quality work than microbreaks are healthier than plowing straight through.

Re:Netflix membership outlook down 1m following price rise

Netflix is hurting from their recent pricing decisions and the loss of Starz is going to hurt them some more. And Hollywood is sticking it to them on pricing for new contracts. No wonder their stock has been taking a dive recently.

Re:Netflix membership outlook down 1m following price rise

Hollywood wont be happy until they drive netflix under in favor of making people subscribe to their own individual streams that each cost way more than Netflix did. so instead they will drive people to "Piracy" allowing them to buy the laws they need to lock up entertainment so tight that even using a boom box on the back deck gets you sued.

Re:Netflix membership outlook down 1m following price rise

While you are correct, then they will lobby for more laws making Piracy an even greater crime, and will lie more about the billions they lose to piracy--- all the while never mentioning the piracy problem had been greatly curtailed before they went medieval on Netflix.

Re:Netflix membership outlook down 1m following price rise

well that is a given. I am sure they will get it to the point that downloading one movie is a worse crime than mowing down school children with a stolen semi truck.

Because you know to the MAFIAA. grand theft auto and wholesale vehicular manslaughter is still not worse than downloading a single track or film.

Re:Congress Members Urge Obama To Approve AT&T/T-Mobile Merg

I doubt Obama steps in to cause DOJ to back off here. His campaign for 2012 has a populist element where he knocks big business for destroying the middle class and jobs. Sticking it to AT&T fits his overall sales pitch as champion of the underclass.

... but he's also a sucker for the BS "This will create more Jobs" spiel. Don't underestimate that. If they sell him on job creation he will be behind this....

What Does AT&T's LTE Launch Mean For You?

Yep. Go through your cap.. Even Faster! I'm sure when people are going through the 'net downloading things at blazing speed.. They're not curious on what their monthly bill is..

Until they get it and pass out. Especially the $10/GB overages.

Any bets on what the largest bill will be?

"Yep. Go through your cap.. Even Faster!"

How original. That joke has been told 23049283423094823 times before on these very forums.

By now we get it. It's not nessacary to continue to beat that dead horse.

Re: Sprint says it can handle the iPhone traffic

Yep, I'm sure it'll be just as slow as my EVO on 3g, and my touch pro before that, and my ppc6700 before that. Not that hard to handle 512kbps, doesn't matter what device it's running on.
