| Verizon responds to AT&T now offers service in 470 Markets. Does enabling 10% of towers in a market means a carrier can to claim full coverage. Where my home is located Verizon's map indicates there is 4G coverage, there is not. I drove around the area near my home where Verizon's map shows coverage and did not find coverage. According to a Verizon's representative the nearest 4G enabled tower is 6 miles away. I wonder how many other Verizon markets have delusional coverage. Verizon will be the new Grinch this year when customers that have purchased 4G devices find they do not have 4G coverage when they activate them, even though Verizon's maps show full coverage where they intend to use the devices. | |

| T-mobile 1900mhz redeployment.. I can confirm the redeployment has occurred in South Florida, (Nov 20,2012 Press release)..
Since last night, I've been using T-mobile's 1900 Mhz HSPA+ band on my Samsung exhibit II 4G phone. It appears to be delivering stronger signal levels than the 1700/2100 band.
But then again.. I may be the only one using it.. Fastest (D/U) speedtest so far 6/2Mbps. | |
