Hollywood DRM slapping people around kinda pisses em off.

| said by hayabusa3303 :How fas they can crack stuff now, Cat and mouse game on Bd i guess. Just remember , you still can't play a burned copy of a bluray movie in a stand alone bluray player. That pesky BD mark on the disc to distinguish a burnt copy from a pressed copy is still a nagging fact. However the convert to HD-DVD is a really slick feature ,that in my opinion might be a glimmer of hope for the folks still finishing off the run of HD-DVD players and burners. -- "It's always funny until someone gets hurt......and then it's absolutely friggin' hysterical!" | |

| Re: Music Industry is Dying Because It Sucks Ironically , they did this to themselves by not evolving with the times really.
If we start a 3 strikes your out policy on music and file sharing , why the hell can't we do this for spam , and virus issues as well. Oh because that makes the isps money , just like file sharing and the like.
If the music industry gets a cut of all the Music branded cd-r's I would think it would be making a fortune , in Canada they can download all they want because of that "tax" why can't we in the US ?
If they would stop with the manufactured bullshit , they may very well find some real talent. But I digress and realize that remaking old songs is considered talent these days. Carry on. I fear the end is near for the dominance of the American empire , we have old people in government and corporations, and change is drastically hard for those folks to accept. -- "It's always funny until someone gets hurt......and then it's absolutely friggin' hysterical!" | |

| They're rips but you encode them into x264 which can then easily fit on a dvd9. I'm not entirely sure why x264 is such a good encoding codec.. or why the hell you can encode an hddvd or bluray to fit on a dvd9 and the quality is still good. But ripping bluray to back it up to bluray isn't that popular, ripping bluray and encoding it to x264 is a little more feasible. | |
