Wow... How many DECADES have people complained about this? You can't say our Government isn't right on top of things. I hear there are big new buggy whip regulations in the works for NEXT year, IF they make it through Committee.

Back in the 1960's Mad Magazine published a parody of this. Someone is watching a horror movie, with the volume turned down so the screams are barely audible. Then the commercial comes on, and it's so loud that the viewer is blasted out of his chair.

So, I would say people have complained about this for at least 50 years.

If you think the company is mismanaged, sell.

Or, stack the board to better control the company. If you're a large shareholder that believe in the company's prospects, you may not want to exit the position. And, selling off a relatively large position isn't necessarily the easiest to do either.
