Poor Dish.... 1 billion isn't going to cut it

They state that they are going to spend between 500 million to 1 billion on a wireless network buildout. That amount isn't going to go very far. The FCC needs to take their spectrum back and reauction it.

Which they can not do unless Dish fails to have 70% coverage by March 2020. THEN they can take it back and auction it which would probably take another couple of years.

even if they do build out it's going to be IoT stuff and that does not help rural people get broadband or help wireless customers have more competition.

Streaming games

Have these guys not heard of PlayStation Now, GeForce Now, Vortex, or Liquidsky? The latter of which is still considered beta and has a few bugs but literally gives you a gaming PC in the cloud. You install your own games, can MOD them, stream to Twitch, anything you want. I been extensively testing for them with beautiful results over my own WiFi(varies with others) and still good over a decent LTE signal.

Re: Streaming games

no. the original 4g spec could do it. 100 mb while on the move and 1gb while not moving.
