You skipped protection path testing and validation. Because you wanted to save a nickel in labor and time. Your going to spend millions in fines.
Instead of coming out and saying yes we F'd up. Taking it on the chin moving on. Maybe firing a engineer or 2 for the outage. You come out and say it couldve been much worse. Yeah you couldve shut off the entire network and just told someone else to fix it.
Think wallstreet wouldve been more forgiving and so would the FCC if you dont come out and drop your brass ones on there chin.
