The news is rolling in fast in furious as The Cable Show gets underway this week in Chicago.

TiVo Inc. (Nasdaq: TIVO) says RCN Corp. and Suddenlink Communications will be the first MSOs to bust out a new whole-home DVR set-up comprising its new quad-tuner Premiere Q gateway and the TiVo Preview, the company's first HD box that doesn't include a DVR. The boxes can stream up to three HD feeds on a home network using Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA) or Ethernet. TiVo is debuting those boxes as well as an enhanced iPad app tailored for cable operators that lets users "flick" selected content from the tablet to the TV screen.
