Time Warner Cable Launches HBO Go
Time Warner Empire Companies Finally Play Nice
by Karl Bode Wednesday 11-Jan-2012 tags: Video · business · alternatives · bandwidth · cable · Time Warner Cable
Despite being a Time Warner Spin off, Time Warner Cable seemingly had a hard time settling a deal with Time Warner's HBO to get access to HBO Go. HBO Go is HBO's Internet video service, which allows users to access back catalogs of HBO content if you already subscribe to traditional cable and HBO. Confirming executive optimism from last December, Time Warner Cable has now announced over at their blog that they're launching both HBO Go and Max Go (that's exactly what you think it is) for all Time Warner Cable customers, with the iOS and Android versions now available in the respective marketplaces.

Thanks...

I'm still waiting for HBOflix and HBOprime (you know, where you pay a subscription fee to get HBO via Netflix or Amazon... hurry! hurry! I can't hold my breath for much longer...).

Re: Thanks...

You'll be long gone before that ever happens. Netflix is a pariah of content owners and ISP's, with amazon's 'prime' VOD service not far behind.

Not to mention anything like this will no doubt violate the agreements they have with their distribution partners.
