(since their internet's been called RoadRunner for mysterious reasons for years) I think the name (Roadrunner) was given because it is/was fast compared to the competition... What I mean is that it was never called Time Warner RoadRunner. It was just RoadRunner. It uses a domain having little-to-nothing to do with Time Warner. The association was never there. That's what I mean.

Time Warner Cable. They're just separating it on the books from Time Warner, Inc.

aggregate data caps..I can't wait until they begin instituting some of the draconian data caps a-la comcast in the NY Metro markets.. they will see their broadband subscribership TANK, BIGTIME!
If not, I will personally call each and every one and tell them what a fool they are for staying with Time Warner! Then slap them silly!

If not, I will personally call each and every one and tell them what a fool they are for staying with Time Warner! Then slap them silly! Since there is little competition, you have only 2 options. Cancel TWC (and have no TV/Internet) or stay with them no matter how bad they are screwing you over. If you can get FIOS, then you can go to that. In NYC you either get TWC or CV (Cablevision). CV gives you much more for your money but that means nothing if you are in TWC's Cable Monopoly footprint.

ever seeing eye logoSo when is TWC getting rid of their Masonic ever seeing eye? I'm shocked that AT&T was caught NSA spying when TWC has been the one really doing it all along, they even tell you.

Road Runner branding... has been used by cable systems other than TWC for over a decade. Currently it's also used by Brighthouse and Insight.
It was also used by the former MediaOne cable company, until their acquisition by AT&T Broadband a few years back.

Re: Road Runner brandingsaid by tmc8080:And Time Warner gives new meaning to running the brand into the ground! I have to agree... amazingly dysfunctional in so many ways. They're behind the technology curve in rolling out network upgrades like DOCSIS 3.0, their speeds are the lowest, their bandwidth caps are the lowest, their pricing is the highest, their service is the worst according to JD Powers. They're not doing one thing wrong, they're doing almost everything wrong.

Re: Road Runner brandingAre you still trolling here? Really? Search "Time Warner" on Twitter... they don't have three full time PR people working Twitter because they're doing well. Or ask their CEO? » www.homemediamagazine.co ··· ry-14751By the way I had a lot of facts in my post! The ONLY major provider to not have DOCSIS 3.0 implemented. The lowest caps 40gb. The lowest speed tiers of major providers. The lowest rating in JD Powers of all national cable companies (just like Adelphia had). What more facts you want?

Re: Road Runner brandingYes I am still here, someone needs to point out the utter baloney you post! A presence on Twitter hardly means that a company is in the toilet, many would feel that its actually a positive move. The economy is indeed taking some chunks out of many businesses, when houses are being repossessed in their thousands its clear that cable would suffer. Docsis 3 ....ok. Comcast actually are the only company with any 3 presence other providers are playing around with it Caps? Oh you mean the small trial in a little town in Texas, I remember that. Speeds?
