Time Warner Cable is starting to deploy a "Digital OnePrice" flat-rate pricing plan for VoIP customers. The service offers 3,000 minutes per month of international calling to 100 countries (see list) for $19.95 more a month if you bundle the plan with TV, broadband and VoIP service.

The plan was launched this week in San Antonio and New York, but should make its way to other markets shortly, according to a Time Warner Cable spokesman.

Not to cellphones in all 100 countries:

Q: Can I make calls to cell phones via the International OnePrice calling plan?
A: Calls to cell phones in Anguilla, Antigua, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Macau, Paraguay, St. Kitts, Thailand and Trinidad and Tabago are included. Calls to cell phones in all other countries will be charged at a per-minute rate.

It is almost as much as getting Vonage Unlimited which includes a lot of international LD.

Although this lists countries, the United States is NOT listed, does that include U.S. territories?

What calling card allows international calling for less than a penny a minute? I know of none.

TW plan = $20/3000 mins = $.0067/min

US , Canada, Puerto Rico, and US territories come under TW's Home Phone plan offering and NOT the International plan. To get the International plan at $19.95 you must already subscribe to the Home Phone plan.

Ok. I don't have their service nor am planning on getting it but I was reading the FAQs and service agreement and that caught my eye.

Thanks for the clarification.

compare to TW 3000 minutes blows crapvision away

TW International VoIP Plan addon is a very Hot deal if u ask me

with no maintence fee, connection fee that calling cards charge & for some u have to use them up in one call
or forget it lol you get stuck in techsupport hell trying to fight it out to get your minutes back.

let's hope cablevision shoot's back with same deal since TW is in there turf.

not unlimited?

Many other companies would have just said "unlimited for normal residential usage", and just cut off customers going over 3000 mins.

Anyway, $19.95 + VoIP monthly fee is a bit much. If Bright House starts offering the same thing, I will not be switching from Lingo.

No GolTV

To bad Time Warner STILL doesn't offer GolTV. If they did, I would have a reason to call Europe.

Please call Time Warner Cable and ask that they add GolTV.

Re: No GolTV

What's rather bizarre (or more likely a display of ignorance of world geography) is that the list linked to shows separate entries for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland (none of which are actually sovereign nations), an entry for Great Britain (which comprises England, Scotland and Wales and is, again, not a sovereign entity) and nothing for England.
