·AT&T DSL Service
| The Article about U-Verse is accurate ... U-Verse, by it's very nature, is bandwidth limited. You could almost go as far as to say It's virtually obsolete right now as it's being deployed.... and it's definitely going to create new headaches down the road.
It's going to be interesting, to say the least, how at&t fairs over the next few years against against DBS TV, and Cable's TV and broadband offerings, as well as FIOS in some areas and Muni efforts in others.
I suspect at&t strategy may pay money now but cost them in the long run. -- "Regulatory capitalism is when companies invest in lawyers, lobbyists, and politicians, instead of plant, people, and customer service." - former FCC Chairman William Kennard (A real FCC Chairman, unlike the current Corporate Spokesperson in the job!)

1 edit | fios rollout is a joke
I work for verizon and I can tell you that fios is full of bugs, probably went to market too early. It's standing room only and many will fall.
| JonHB join:2007-09-18 Huntington Beach, CA | Apple MobileMe was rushed to save face against ActiveSync With Apple's EGO, they couldn't very well release ActiveSync for Exchange on the 2.0 platform with all the great synchronization options without having their own offering as well. I think they rushed the MobileMe platform so that having ActiveSync wasn't seen as an enhancement to what Apple was already offering (even though it is). | |
