Canada Broadband stimulus!

I wish the government would just make internet a public commodity instead of handing out cash to the existing telco/cable companies.

I know theres no monetary incentive to built internet infrastructure in rural areas, but it does sit well with me to give money to companies that make millions but cap and throttle their services.

WiFi Fees

As an occasional traveler, I really do not see a problem with charging a fee for WiFi. Data is always charged (well minus a few "free" wifi spots), whether it is on our mobile device or at home/office. It makes sense to charge in a moving tin can at FL350.

But charging for each checked bag? Common... And to think I work in the aviation industry...

Canada Broadband

Not surprisingly, there is no Net Neutrality stipulation in the stimulus.
