Development worried about new rules for phone apps

Maybe not trying to track and advertize the crap out of users.

When you make an app, make just an app, not a platform to collect data.

Crazy Idea I know.

Re: Development worried about new rules for phone apps

How do you honestly believe developers are going to get paid "free" and $0.99 apps? Privacy is a currency in the 21st Century. Don't like, then unplug.

Ads don't have to track/spy/gather to earn income.

Many free apps have a paid version that only exist to be ad free.

It's becoming more so that ads do indeed need to be targeted. Much more lucrative. I imagine there's a future coming very soon that advertisers won't pay for anything less.

Some do. I'd be interested in stats that show the take rate for the paid app over the free one.
