Verizon launches FiOS services for small business customers

May 25, 2005 New York -- Verizon today announced the launch of its FiOS (FYE'-ose) Internet Service for Business, which it claims provides small businesses with big-business speeds for super-fast Internet access and data transmission. The new service is now available in parts of California, Florida, and Texas. Story Continues

More or less a perfunctory "Hey, here's our new products and prices" type of announcement.
Not that that's bad, just not real *new* news.
