Verizon's 'Quantum TV' DVR Expands to Tampa Wednesday May 07 2014 07:59 EDT Verizon recently unveiled their new "Quantum TV" ultra-DVR in select markets, including North Texas, Harrisburg, portions of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. The new IPTV DVR hub offers 6-tuners and 1 terabyte or storage for $22/month over the price of your HD service. Users can utilize two VMS boxes to obtain 12 tuners and 2TB of internal storage for $32/month on top of existing HD service. After a selective early launch, Verizon today announced that the service is now available in the Tampa area, with additional markets getting the new DVR "in phases over the next few months." |

Wrong PA locationMinor nitpicky point. You mentioned that it was available in select markets, including Harrisburg, PA, and Pittsburgh. I don't know about Harrisburg, but the first market it was available in in PA was in the Philly region - not the Harrisburg region. While most of Philly still can't get the VMS, I was one of the first to get it, and I live in Downingtown, a suburb of Philly.

Re: Wrong PA locationOdd, thanks. They don't mention the Philly launch in their press release.
