| | Verizon Blocks European Emails A friend and client, writing me thrice in December, was completely blocked and manage to get an email to me via a third party with Earthlink (the company I'm switching to). I didn't know what he was talking about, stating that Verizon was blocking Europe. But when I discovered two days ago that the European based company hosting my website was also blocked, I went ballistic with Verizon's technical support, their reasons ranging from an anti spam war to stating what was decided to be done needed no explanation nor warning to their paying customers. I find this to be an utter invasion into my privacy, and feel it necessary that all Verizon customers become aware of current events with their accounts. Heaven knows who else has been blocked – I don’t really have the means of knowing. I won’t miss Verizon as I don’t miss AOL. |
