VoIP Coming in Dec 04 (point-topic.com)

I have not seen this article referenced yet on this forum and figured it was worth posting. Posted on point-topic.com on 09 July 04, MediaComm will be testing VoIP on their networks in DesMoines, Iowa this month. Following the tests, it plans to roll some sort of all-inclusive $40 "bundled" package by December 2004.

Not confirmed

When I did followup on this, I found out that there was circuit testing through McLeod months ago, but no future testing beyond that. Still though, VoIP will be deployed throughout Iowa by the end of 2005 and starting as early as the end of 2004.
