Windstream has started The Lifetime Tour to promote its Lifetime Price Guarantee to consumers who want to lock in a price for life on high-speed Internet and home phone services. Windstream provides phone, high-speed Internet and high-definition TV services.
For the Lifetime Tour, Windstream is sending three identical truck tours to communities in the 16 states it provides residential services to attend fairs, festivals and other community events. In addition, family-friendly gatherings will be hosted with free food, a Plinko game and prizes. It will be possible for consumers at these events to sign up for the Windstream Lifetime Price Guarantee. The Lifetime Price Guarantee guarantees a locked-in rate on high-speed Internet and unlimited nationwide calling for life. The Lifetime Tour will utilize Windstreams brand icon, the vintage 1953 green pickup.
Windstream is launching a dynamic new website, in conjunction with the tour. Consumers will be able to register at this website to win a lifetime of free telephone and high-speed Internet services. In addition, one prize will be awarded each month from May through October to consumers living in a Windstream residential area. The new website will also include a digital version of the same Plinko game that can be played in person when The Lifetime Tour visits local communities. It will also be possible for visitors to download and share photos taken during a tour stop, view the tour schedule, meet the road managers and learn about Windstream's Lifetime Price Guarantee.
