Fox Broadcasting announced on Wednesday that it is severing ties with WTVW (Fox 7).
Fox Broadcasting now has an agreement with WEVV to air the Fox primetime and sports programming on WEVV's secondary channel, which is now called My44. It will be re-branding My Fox 44.
My44 is not CBS. My44 is the WEVV channel that airs on 44.2. CBS44's programming on WEVV (44.1) will not be affected.
This means shows that were previously on Fox programming, such as American Idol, Fringe, Glee, Bones, and more, will air on My Fox 44.
Broadcasting & Cable, an industry publication, reports the Fox programming will launch on My Fox 44 on July 1, 2011.
Do not call your cable or satellite provider yet, since the change just took place.
