Sounds just like those calling for cable companies to stop billing for "bytes used" overages because they claim that the meters aren't OFFICIALLY approved and regulated Weights & Measures tools. Massachusetts regulators don't have an approved GPS standard, so they say the taxis that use them can't do business.
