RE:Boston Shuts Down Uber Because Mass Doesn't Approve GPS

Sounds just like those calling for cable companies to stop billing for "bytes used" overages because they claim that the meters aren't OFFICIALLY approved and regulated Weights & Measures tools. Massachusetts regulators don't have an approved GPS standard, so they say the taxis that use them can't do business. This is what idiotic gov't regulation gets you.

Government regulation makes taxi operations a lot more profitable. As in they wouldn't exist without it. The same is true of the big cable companies.
